About Boo Chains
Boo Chains is a Halloween puzzle game where you connect cute monsters that share the same number or sit one apart. Drag across a group of neighbors, release to set off the chain, and watch the monsters burst. Longer chains are rewarded with pumpkin bombs, lightning strikes and a mischievous ghost that set off big combos when they go off together.
The night takes you across a spooky map of five zones. Along the way you rescue monsters caught in webs, chains, tombstones and armor, and face a giant boss every ten stages. Between rounds you can unlock monster heroes with special powers, buy upgrades, finish daily missions and claim your nightly gift. It is free to play right in your browser.
How to play
- On desktop, click and drag across neighboring monsters that share the same number or differ by one, then release to link them.
- Aim for a chain of 9 links down to 1 to build the strongest reactions.
- Use the arrow keys or WASD to move, Enter to link, and Space to collect.
- Press B to use a power, H for a hint, R to shuffle the board, and P or Esc to pause.
- On mobile, slide your finger across the monsters to form a chain.
