Clearfell: Forest Outpost begins with a single tent in a small clearing somewhere deep within an endless forest. From there you cut your way outward, collecting wood, stone, gold and iron to expand your camp piece by piece. Sawmills, mines, walls, turrets and mortars all help you hold ground, while rescued settlers can be put to work keeping the outpost running.

The woods are not empty. Goblin camps, caged prisoners, ore veins and roaming merchants lie along the trails, and every other night the goblins come raiding. You can fight them off with guns and grenades, then track their trails back to burn out their lairs, though new camps tend to appear further into the forest. Day and night, shifting weather and research add variety to each run.

How to play

1. Move with WASD or the arrow keys, and aim with the mouse.
2. Left-click to shoot or place a building; press B or 1-0 to choose one.
3. Hold E to chop, mine or open things, and talk to people with E as well.
4. Press F to open the building menu, R to rotate a piece, and Shift or Space to dash.
5. Throw a grenade with right-click or G, and use Q to heal yourself.
