Hellforge: Demon Protocol drops you straight into intense 2D run-and-gun combat across twenty industrial stages. Hostile forces stand in your path, ranging from armored shield troops and mech hounds to berserkers and heavy gatling brutes. Along the way, you must navigate past sixteen hazardous trap varieties, find hidden pickups, and equip up to six distinct weapons alongside grenades and protective armor.

Survival requires quick reflexes and smart loadout management. You start with three lives and can carry two active guns at a time, making weapon switching and timely dodges essential. Ten powerful animated bosses test your skills before returning as elite threats in subsequent stages. Checkpoints help keep your momentum going as the difficulty ramps up with every cleared level.

How to play

1. Navigate your soldier using A/D or Left/Right arrow keys, and jump or double jump with W, Up arrow, or Space.
2. Aim using the mouse and shoot with Left Click or the J key; reload anytime with R.
3. Switch between your two weapon slots using Q or numbers 1 and 2.
4. Dodge incoming attacks with Shift, throw grenades with G, and activate your shield with F.
5. Interact with objects or grab gear with E, pause with P or Esc, or use onscreen touch controls on mobile.
