About Magic Battle Online
Magic Battle Online is a multiplayer fighting game set in a blocky, cube-shaped world where you take on the role of a mage. Before you enter the arena, you choose one of eleven elements, including fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, darkness and time, and each one brings its own spells and combat style. Up to ten real players can clash at once, and the map shifts every five minutes, so no two rounds feel quite the same.
As you fight, you climb from Apprentice toward Alpha, raising your elemental mastery and upgrading your spell ranks. You can also forge runes and fuse them into stronger versions, challenge friends to one-on-one duels, and join limited-time events. The game runs in your browser on a computer and is free to play, though it is not currently set up for phones.
How to play
- Use W, A, S and D to move around the arena, and press Space to jump.
- Hold Shift to crouch and Ctrl to run when you need to cover ground quickly.
- Press 1 to swing your blade in close combat.
- Press 2, 3 or 4 to cast your elemental spells, which are shown on the bottom panel.
